Madeline and Morgan's Birthday Party

On Sunday we celebrated Madeline and Morgan's birthdays together since my days are numbered by the possibility of either going on bedrest or baby Kevin may decide she wants us to finally meet her (Baby Kevin is what Maddie has called her for months....for those of you wondering who Kevin is....thanks Corbett). Madeline turned 3 on Saturday and Morgan will be 2 in October. It turned out to be a beautiful day, and I think everyone, including the adults, enjoyed themselves. The kiddie jump was a huge hit.

Maddie had her 3 year check up with Tammy (our very favorite Nurse Practioner at Southlake Pediatrics in Maple Grove) yesterday. Maddie is 30 pounds (50%) and 36-3/4" tall (50%). She is perfect! She made quite an impression on Tammy. She told her that her favorite color was BLACK! She said her baby sister's name is going to be Kevin! She doesn't like vegetables! She has cake and juice for breakfast! Her favorite food is cookies! I was a little embarassed, but after she was done showing off, she counted to 10, stated all the colors that were in the carpeting on the floor, passed a hearing and eyesight test/game that they played, and Maddie even talked a little bit about school. Tammy said Madeline is developing wonderfully! We've had quite a full schedule these past couple weeks....now it's time to get ready for the baby.
